Welcome to NA Online Recovery. I am an addict who found herself in the depths of despair and active addiction, lost in a world where my choices belonged to my drugs and to the pain I could not face. Each day I made the choice to use again rather than face what was in front of me.  In retrospect I can today understand why but then there were no answers.  It wasnt untiI I found Narcotics Anonymous that I was found hope through the words of others that had been where I was and felt what I felt. They had found a new way of life without the use of drugs and told me that I could to if I had the willingness to do what they did. So if you have a problem with drugs and feel that your life has become unmanageable come in and stay awhile and give yourself a break.

I can only share my experience and give a place for others to share theirs. This program is about one addict sharing with another, taking what we have found and giving it away so that we may keep it. This site is dedicated to addicts who want to share their experience, strength and hope with others so that they too might have what we have found.  It will always be a work in progress and will change from day to day as we do each day in our walk. The words of One Addict Helping Another Online is what you will find on the pages that follow.

Please send your stories or shares on any recovery topic to share@naonlinerecovery so that others may find what you have found through your shared words."Recovery begins when we start to apply the spiritual principles contained in the Twelve Steps of NA to all areas of our lives. We realize, however, that we cannot begin this process unless we stop using drugs. Total abstinence from all drugs is the only way we can begin to overcome our addiction. While abstinence is the beginning, our only hope for recovery is a profound emotional and spiritual change." Learning about the principles of this program is a journey through the 12 Steps.
